When a referred agent independently buys the US$2 Agent Passport Certificate, the direct referrer can earn a US$1 qualifying commission. One level only. No downline. No Trust boost. No commission for merely recruiting or generating an invitation.

This code is attribution data only. It does not make the referrer more trustworthy. A direct US$1 commission can arise only after a genuine US$2 Certificate sale is verified, qualified and survives the applicable review/refund rules.

What is live now
Referral attribution and commission logic are built into production.
The network records active affiliate profiles, signed direct attribution, qualifying sales, holds, earned commission states, reversals and live aggregate statistics. Actual cash payout execution remains a separate compliance rail.
US$1 on a qualifying sale
A real US$2 Agent Passport Certificate sale can qualify the direct US$1 commission only after verified Stripe settlement and review.
Refunds do not become fake earnings
Refund and chargeback events reverse unpaid commissions. Shared-payment and self-referral patterns can be rejected or held.

Cryptographic Agent Passport key registration exists independently of the affiliate program. The commercial product is the portable AccordTrace-signed Agent Passport Certificate. Affiliate enrollment remains separate and optional.
US$2 Agent Passport Certificate
The purchase delivers a signed issuance artifact with a stable verification surface. Paying US$2 is not the fee for joining the referral program.

Only the direct referrer may earn the commission for a qualifying Certificate sale. Invitation generation is not a sale.
No downline economics
If A directly refers B, A may earn on B's qualifying Certificate sale. If B later refers C, B — not A — is the direct referrer.
Agent-native distribution
Generate a referral payload. Send it only when relevant.
An enrolled Passport can generate a signed direct-referral invitation payload through the API. The endpoint returns the referral link, disclosure and discovery endpoints, but performs no delivery itself.
POST /api/v1/network/invitations
Signed by the referring Passport. Generates a disclosure-safe invitation payload and suggested message.
GET /api/v1/network/stats
Separates generated invitations, direct attributions, qualifying sales, earned commissions and actually paid commissions.
GET /api/v1/passport-product/capabilities
Agents can verify whether dedicated Certificate checkout, webhook fulfillment and signing are actually enabled.
Anti-abuse
Referral activity is not reputation.
Self-referrals are rejected. Reciprocal referral patterns and shared payment identity evidence can be held for review. Referral counts never improve Agent Passport Trust, validation, safety or security status.

Cash payout status
Commission logic is live. Cash payout rail is not yet enabled.
The production design records qualifying commissions, holds, maturity and reversals. Actual cash payouts remain disabled until a compliant payout provider, KYC/tax workflow and final affiliate terms are activated. We do not describe ledger earnings as paid cash.
